Pre-Employment Physical Examination<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>According to <strong>Article 20 and Article 46 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act<\/strong> and <strong>Article 16 of the Labor Health Protection Regulations<\/strong>, new employees must complete a physical examination <strong>before the start date<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Applicable Personnel<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>All newly hired faculty and staff.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Excludes<\/strong> temporary or short-term workers employed for <strong>less than six months<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>Designated Hospitals<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>It is recommended to undergo the examination at the university-affiliated hospitals:\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Taipei Medical University Hospital (TMUH)<\/strong> \u2013 register under <strong>Family Medicine<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Wanfang Hospital or Shuang Ho Hospital<\/strong> \u2013 contact their <strong>Health Management Center<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>If unable to visit a university-affiliated hospital, please undergo the examination at a <strong>medical institution recognized by the Ministry of Labor<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h4><strong>II. Pre-Employment Occupational Safety and Health Training<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>According to <strong>the Occupational Safety and Health Act<\/strong>, all new employees <strong>must<\/strong> complete <strong>3 hours of safety and health training<\/strong> before starting work, which includes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Online Training (2 hours)<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Complete the courses on the <strong>Occupational Safety and Health Administration&#8217;s digital learning platform<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Print the learning record and submit it to the <strong>Office of<\/strong> <strong>HR on the first day<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>In-Person Training (1 hour)<\/strong>:\n<ul>\n<li>Conducted on the <strong>first day of employment<\/strong>, covering workplace safety and
