Eligibility for Appointment as Professor Emeritus
Candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:

1. Have served as a full-time faculty member at the University for at least 15 years, with outstanding achievements in academic research or teaching, and have made significant contributions to enhancing the University’s reputation.

2. Have made exceptional academic contributions and enjoy an international reputation.

3. Have previously served as President of the University and made significant contributions to its planning, development, and advancement.

Nomination Procedure
Nominations for Emeritus Professor must be jointly endorsed by at least ten professors of the University, including at least five full-time professors, and submitted to the President. The nomination will be reviewed by an evaluation committee appointed by the President, then submitted to the University Faculty Evaluation Committee for deliberation. Upon approval, the appointment will be finalized by the President.

Application Period and Submission
Applications are accepted from now until April 30, 2026. Applicant units are requested to submit the application form and supporting documents to the Office of Human Resources no later than April 30, 2026.

If revisions or additional documents are required after the preliminary review by the Office of Human Resources, applicants must complete and resubmit within the specified deadline stated in the notification. Late submissions will not be accepted.
