Job Description-
Taipei Medical University (TMU) is seeking a highly motivated scholar with a Ph.D. and an outstanding record of academic achievement in healthcare or a related discipline. Applicants must hold a doctoral degree from an accredited public, private, or foreign university, college, or institution recognized by the Ministry of Education (R.O.C.).
The successful candidate is expected to contribute to TMU’s international research profile and engage in interdisciplinary research and collaboration within a dynamic academic environment.
The successful candidate will be appointed to the College of Nursing at Taipei Medical University.
Salary
$83,720NTD~ $198,770NTD per month + benefits
Selection Criteria
Qualifications
- Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in a healthcare-related field or a related discipline, with outstanding academic achievements, from a public or accredited private university or independent college, or from a foreign university or independent college recognized in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education, Taiwan.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong research potential or established scholarly achievements in one or more of the following areas: Aging and Public Health Policy, Geriatrics and Long-Term Care, Health Promotion and Healthy Aging, and Digital Health and AI for Aging.
- Proficiency in English and the ability to teach courses using English as a Medium of Instruction (EMI) are required.
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to secure competitive research funding, with experience in research proposal development, conducting large-scale research projects, independent research, and international research collaboration.
- Candidates should demonstrate the ability to innovate in teaching and research and to work effectively in interdisciplinary and collaborative teams.
- Candidates with prior teaching experience will be given preference.
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching, mentoring, and talent development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong teamwork capabilities, and demonstrated experience in international academic exchange and collaboration are highly desirable.
- Candidates should demonstrate strong research motivation, academic professionalism, and the ability to contribute to an international and interdisciplinary academic environment.
