Job Description-
Taipei Medical University is seeking a highly motivated candidate with a Ph.D. and outstanding academic achievements in medical neuroscience, life sciences, or a closely related discipline from an accredited public, private, or foreign university recognized by the Ministry of Education (R.O.C.). The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the University’s international research profile within a cross-disciplinary research environment. The appointment will be based in the College of Medical Science and Technology at Taipei Medical University.

Qualifications
- Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree with outstanding academic achievements in medical neuroscience, life sciences, or a closely related discipline from a public or accredited private university, independent college, or a foreign institution recognized in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Education.
- Candidates should have at least two years of postdoctoral research experience or other relevant research experience. Prior teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level is preferred.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a background in neuroscience, molecular biology, or translational medicine, particularly those with research interests related to rare neurological diseases and experience in applying for and managing government-funded research projects.

- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team-based and interdisciplinary research environments.
- Proven ability to apply for research grants, with experience in conducting large-scale research projects, research proposal development, international research experience, a record of international collaboration, and the capacity for independent research.
- Demonstrated ability to teach in English as a medium of instruction (EMI), innovate in teaching and research, and work effectively within interdisciplinary teams.
- Candidates with prior teaching experience will be given priority.
- Strong commitment to teaching excellence and talent development.
- Excellent communication skills, strong teamwork abilities, and a demonstrated capacity for international exchange and collaboration.
- Excellent English proficiency, strong enthusiasm for research, and well-developed interpersonal skills.
