Job Description

Taipei Medical University is looking for a motivated member with Ph.D. degree with outstanding academic achievements in the field relating to Physiology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Science, or a related discipline, who will contribute to our international research profile in a cross-disciplinary environment. The new appointee will be based at the College of Pharmacy at Taipei Medical University.

Salary

$83,720NTD~ $198,770NTD per month + benefits

Selection Criteria
Qualifications

1. A Ph.D. in Physiology, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, or a related discipline, with an outstanding academic record.
2. The successful candidate must be qualified to teach a broad range of physiology courses, particularly in neuroscience, and be proficient in delivering lectures and leading discussions entirely in English.
3. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate a strong commitment to cutting-edge research in physiology and have a proven record of high-impact publications. Interest or experience in big data analytics and/or biomaterials science is highly desirable.
4. A minimum of two years of postdoctoral research experience and a demonstrated record of international academic exchange.
5. Demonstrated ability to secure research funding, develop competitive grant proposals, lead large-scale research projects, conduct independent research, and establish international collaborations would be advantageous.
6. Demonstrated ability to teach using English as the medium of instruction, pursue innovation in teaching and research, and collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary teams.
7. A strong passion for teaching, mentoring, and cultivating future talent.
8. Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with demonstrated capacity for international academic exchange and cooperation.
9. Excellent English proficiency, strong enthusiasm for research, and well-developed interpersonal skills.
