The Adjustment of Payday and Labor Insurance Coverage for Part-Time Staff

In accordance with government regulations and referring to regulations of other universities. To protect the rights of part-time staffs, following adjustments will be made, starting from August 1st, 2024:

If there is a bridge holiday, an additional notification will be sent to adjust the signing time for the month.

  1. The fifth day of every month is the payday.

Due to government regulations, the payday for part-time staffs will be adjusted from the 16th of the following month to the 5th of the following month.
(e.g. August salary will be paid on September 5th, 2024.)
To ensure timely salary payment, the process must be completed before the 25th of each month.

  1. Only monthly insurance method is approved.

Part-time staff will uniformly use monthly labor insurance coverage, which will be valid from the first day of employment and expired on the last day of employment. If the employment period is less than one month, the labor insurance and labor retirement fees will be calculated on the actual working days of the employment period and then divided by 30 (days).

  1. Services without employment and labor insurance are prohibited.

Part-time employees are not allowed to provide services before the establishment of an employment relationship and before enrolling in labor insurance. Any wages generated during aforesaid period will not be accepted for retrospective tracing to protect the rights of employees.
