Remote work, to provide colleagues with diverse and flexible working options. (July to August 2024)

  1. Purpose:
  • Promote the development of new work processes and methods within the unit.
  • Provide colleagues with diverse and flexible working options.
  • Reduce commuting time and traffic-related carbon emissions.
  1. Application Method and Work Instructions:
  • Period: Remote work applications are open every Friday during July and August 2024.
  • Eligible Participants: Full-time staff and faculty members serving as department heads at the university.
  • Eligibility Criteria:
    1. The nature of the work on the remote work day is not limited to tasks that can only be completed in the office.
    2. Self-provision of remote work equipment (computer/internet) and communication devices (work mobile phone/internet phone, which can be requested from the IT department).
      • (Note) Link to the summer remote mobile extension application form.
  • Application Process: After the application is submitted by the colleague and approved by their unit supervisor, the primary unit's contact person will register it in the [Remote Work Roster], which will be published on the Office of Human Resource webpage under the latest news section for reference.
  • Additional Requirements: Remote work still requires the completion of personal attendance records, maintaining contact for work-related matters, and proactively reporting work progress.
