Adjustment of Project personnel’s employment Renewal before the Project is Approved.

Dear Faculty and Staffs,
To ensure the rights of personnel under projects, following adjustments will be made, starting from August 1st, 2024:
ü  Services without employment and labor insurance are prohibited. Project employees are not allowed to provide services before the establishment of an employment relationship and before enrolling in labor insurance. Any salary generated during aforesaid period will not be accepted for retrospective tracing to protect the rights of employees.
ü  PI may apply for Temporarily Loans to cover project personnel’s salary and insurance for three months.  
ü  Submit contract renewal application documents to Office of Human Resource one month prior to the expiration of the current employment.
ü  After the project is approved, PI needs to email HR and Office of Finance to adjust the budget.
ü  If the project budget is insufficient or not approved, the PI should return the salary and insurance fee borrowed from the university.
