【Research Assistant in Biomedical Engineering】
Location: College of Biomedical Engineering, Taipei Medical University, International Graduate Institute of Biomedical Materials and Tissue Engineering, Shuang-Ho Biotech campus, New Taipei City
Position: Research Assistant
Language Requirements: Fluency in Chinese (able to write, read, and speak). Good communication skills in English.
Job Description: Dedicated and enthusiastic Research Assistant to join our dynamic team. The candidate will be involved in cutting-edge research in the field of human platelet-derived biotherapies, some in collaboration with industry and international research institutes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing biochemical techniques for protein purification and characterization.
  • Conducting various analyses including ELISA, electrophoresis, and Western blotting.
  • Ideally, experienced in chromatography and cell culture techniques.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of research projects.
  • Collaborating with PhD and MS students in a diverse and international lab environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in -or highly motivated to learn- biochemical lab techniques, especially protein purification and characterization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in an international setting.
